1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp flour
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup sour cream (room temp)
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
8 oz egg noodles or pasta of choice, cooked
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 4–5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and set aside.

Step 2
In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add chopped onions and cook until translucent. Stir in garlic and mushrooms; cook for 5–6 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and golden.

Step 3
Sprinkle in paprika and flour; stir to coat the mushrooms. Slowly pour in the chicken broth while stirring to avoid lumps. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.

Step 4
Reduce heat to low. Stir in sour cream and Worcestershire sauce (if using). Mix until the sauce is creamy and smooth. Return the cooked chicken to the pan and stir to coat.

Step 5
