About This Recipe
Alright, friends, I'm going to tell you something: my family will drop everything and go straight to the kitchen when they see this recipe for chicken parmesan casserole. It has all the flavors of comfort food: saucy pasta, crispy chicken, and melty cheese that has been baked to golden perfection. Sultan and the kids asked me to make this for them once on a rainy Sunday, and ever since then, they have asked me to do it at least once every week.
Regular chicken parm requires some frying, layering, and fuss, don't you? Not this one, anyway. This casserole version retains all of the delicious Italian flavor while keeping things incredibly easy.

2 cups marinara sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tbsp unsalted butter
