Ingredients
8 chicken drumsticks
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp onion powder
½ cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)
1 tbsp honey (optional, for extra sweetness)
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp smoked paprika (optional, for a smoky kick)
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.

Step 2
Pat the drumsticks dry using paper towels.

Step 3
In a large bowl, toss the drumsticks with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder until evenly coated.

Step 4
After 25 minutes, brush the drumsticks with BBQ glaze and return to the oven for 10 more minutes. Flip, glaze the other side, and bake for an additional 5–7 minutes until the glaze caramelizes and chicken reaches 165°F internally.

Step 5
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with extra BBQ sauce if you like!

Secret Tips
Before seasoning, pat the drumsticks dry because moisture causes soggy skin.
Bake uncovered so the skin can crisp and the sauce caramelizes.
Brush BBQ sauce in layers. First halfway through baking, then again just before finishing.
Let the drumsticks rest for 5 minutes out of the oven — juices settle, and the sauce thickens.
